Humanistic Game Design (formerly discussed as Moral Game Design) was a piece I wrote in 2014 analyzing 16 different game design patterns for creating a toxic relationship with their players or for adding to their players lives. It’s about 3000 words and I’m pretty proud of it for gathering up all my thoughts on games at that time and serves as a lens for all future games I work on.
